The Mother\u2019s guidance is an ever-inspiring flame \u2013 a gift we feel with particular force in February, the month of her birth. And as we celebrate, too, the February anniversary of Auroville\u2019s foundation, we remember with warm gratitude the action and generosity of India … not just for hosting the City of Dawn, but also for actually collaborating in its progress. Sri Aurobindo had foreseen that modern India would play a key role in nourishing humanity\u2019s spiritual future \u2013 and in his view, a spiritual future would be the only way forward. As we gather in aspiration around the Matrimandir, the invocations from India\u2019s ancient wisdom become all the more meaningful, inspiring us to keep the flame strong as we progress together for building a more luminous future:<\/p>\n
